Phil Botha Creative is an independent studio in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. Strategy, design, build and film come from the same hands, so the brand, the website and the systems underneath actually fit together.
Joy is the fuel. Every brief, every unknown, every bit of chaos is an opportunity. Joy doesn't wait for perfect conditions, and it doesn't show up on its own either. You make space for it. So we take each step as it comes. That's how change happens: joy, turned into momentum.
The story so far.
Phil has been building for the web for more than twenty-five years; the first website made the newspaper when he was sixteen. Since then the work has spanned brand identities, national campaigns, CRM-backed websites, SaaS products and films, for organisations like Asthma New Zealand, Hynds Pipe Systems, N2P Controls and World Freedom Network. Some clients have stayed for more than a decade.
Built to fit the job.
Every project is led personally, from the first workshop to handover. When the work needs more hands, a trusted network of specialists joins: production crew, developers, illustrators and print partners. The direction never changes hands, so nothing gets lost between departments.
Our own kit.
Films and photography are shot on the studio's own cinema kit: cameras, lenses, lighting, sound and drone. Owning the gear keeps the quality high, the schedule flexible and the budget honest.

Websites and systems are built with the right tools for the job and integrated with what you already run, then handed over with training and documentation so your team owns them.
